“Ακολουθούμε τις τάσεις, όχι την μόδα”“We Follow Trends, Not Fashion Itself”

• Τι είναι μόδα για σένα; Κάτι που ακολουθούμε ή κάτι που δημιουργούμε;

Αυτό που ακολουθούμε είναι οι τάσεις και όχι η μόδα. Η Coco Chanel αναφέρει χαρακτηριστικά “Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” Το συγκεκριμένο ρητό είναι για μένα το ιδεατό, αντικατοπτρίζει απόλυτα τον τρόπο σκέψης μου. Δεν πιστεύω στην κυριαρχία των τάσεων αλλά στην δημιουργία προσωπικού στυλ.

• Ονόμασε κάποια brands ή και σχεδιαστές που ταιριάζουν στο στυλ σου.

Δηλώνω φανατική του Marc Jacobs και ιδιαίτερα της diffusion line Marc καθώς συγκεντρώνει πολλά ετερόκλητα στοιχεία. Αν βέβαια τύχαινε να συναντηθούμε σε κάποιο όνειρο σίγουρα θα φορούσα ένα φόρεμα Oscar de la Renta και γόβες Christian Louboutin!

• Έχεις κάποια συγκεκριμένα καταστήματα από τα οποία ψωνίζεις και γιατί;

Για το καθημερινό ντύσιμο θα επιλέξω Attica, H&M ή Zara λόγω ποικιλίας. Όμως, για πιο ιδιαίτερες περιστάσεις, προτιμώ το οικείο περιβάλλον των αγαπημένων μου boutiques. Πάντα ανακαλύπτω μικρούς θησαυρούς και τα πιο ιδιαίτερα κομμάτια. Δεν υπάρχει κάτι καλύτερο, από το να σε γνωρίζουν με το μικρό σου όνομα και να νιώθεις άνετα ψωνίζοντας και ταυτόχρονα ανταλλάσσοντας ιδέες και tips πάνω σε θέματα μόδας!

• Στείλε μας ένα βίντεο ή φωτογραφία που να σε εκφράζει.

To τηλεοπτικό σποτ από την συνεργασία των H&M με τον Karl Lagerfeld. Για μερικούς είναι ακόμα μια προσπάθεια των σχεδιαστών να διευρύνουν το αγοραστικό κοινό τους, για άλλους πάλι είναι η αρχή του εκδημοκρατισμού της μόδας, ένα βήμα προς το όνειρο. Ο διάλογος στο συγκεκριμένο σποτ είναι ευρηματικός και αποδεικνύει ότι στο στυλ δεν παίζουν ρόλο τα χρήματα, αλλά η προσωπικότητα του καθενός.

• Ποιο είναι το πιο αγαπημένο κομμάτι της γκαρνταρόμπας σου;

Μια μαύρη pencil φούστα Armani Collezioni. Σωτήρια για τις δύσκολες ώρες τύπου «Δεν έχω τίποτα να βάλω!». Έχει κλασική γραμμή και προσαρμόζεται σε κάθε περίπτωση και στυλ που επιλέγω να ακολουθήσω. Ωστόσο, ο νέος μου έρωτας δεν είναι άλλος από τις γόβες United Nude που απέκτησα πρόσφατα από τον διαγωνισμό του ermoumag και του Umma Studio!

• Αν σου έλεγαν να κάνεις μiα πρόβλεψη για τις τάσεις και τα στυλ των επόμενων ετών/κολεξιόν, ποια θα ήταν η πρόβλεψή σου;

Αν και δεν είμαι ειδικός, πιστεύω ότι οι σχεδιαστές θα συνεχίσουν να εμπνέονται από το παρελθόν και να προσαρμόζουν τις τάσεις στα σημερινά δεδομένα. Η σταθερή ύπαρξη του Grecian style στις collection διασήμων σχεδιαστών είναι άλλωστε η περίτρανη απόδειξη ότι οι τάσεις έρχονται και παρέρχονται. Αν είχα την δυνατότητα να επηρεάζω τις τάσεις, σίγουρα θα είχα ως «αφετηρία» των ιδεών μου την δεκαετία του ’60. Από την μουσική, το ντύσιμο μέχρι κ τον τρόπο ζωής η εποχή αυτή με εκφράζει απόλυτα.

• What does fashion mean to you? Is it something that we follow or something that we create?

What we follow are the trends and not fashion itself. Coco Chanel characteristically had said that “Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening” That particular phrase mirrors my way of thinking. I don’t believe in the power of trend but in the creation of a personal style.

• Name some brands and/or designers that match your style.

I absolutely adore Marc Jacobs and especially his diffusion line Marc because it is quite diverse and combines different elements together. If by any chance happened to meet in a dream I would definitely wear an Oscar de la Renta and some killer heels by Christian Louboutin!

• Do you have any particular stores where you shop from and why?

For my casual and everyday wear I will visit Attica, H&M or Zara because of the vast variety that they have. However for special occasions I prefer the intimate environment of my favorite boutiques. I always discover little treasures and the most intriguing pieces. Nothing compares to be known by your first name and feeling comfortable while shopping, exchanging ideas and opinions in fashion related topics!

The spot from the collaboration of H&M with Karl Lagerfeld. For some it is just another try from the designers to expand their buying audience, for other is the beginning of fashion democracy, a step closer to the dream, to owning a designer piece at a high street price. The dialogue at the particular spot is imaginative and proves that to have style you don’t need money but a personality.

• What is your favorite piece from your wardrobe?

A black pencil skirt from Armani Collezioni. It’s a life savior on times that you think that you have nothing to wear! It has a classic line and can be adjusted in any occasion and style that I chose. However my new love affair is the new pair of heels United Nude that I won recently from ermoumag and Umma Studio’s contest!

• If someone asked you to predict the trend and the style of the next collections what would that be?

Although I am not an expert, I do believe that the designers will continue to be inspired from the past and to adjust the trend in today’s needs. The continuous re-appearance of the Grecian style is one of the strongest proofs that trends come and go. If I had the chance to influence the trends I would definitely take as a starting point the 60’s. The music, the clothes, the way of living of that time absolutely matches with my personality.
