United Nude shoes Spring/Summer 2011

One of our favourite shoe brands, is United Nude and we often write about them, since their collections never cease to amaze us with their ingenuity in design. As they say and we agree of how well they abide,  United Nude is part of a creative collective, functioning as a hub of interaction between architects, fashion designers, magazine editors and photographers.

There new Spring/Summer 2011 collection held plenty of surprises for us and we picked the ones we would like to own.

Haiku, much like the form of poetry it is named after is succinct and beautiful.

Lo Res is part of a new semi-automatic design method by United Nude. An object is digitally scanned into a 3D computer model and regenerated into various resolutions. The Lo Res shoe is part of an automated design revolution.

Frame Lo, is a return to United Nude’s architectural roots as the most important part of any structure is its frame. The upper is a luxurious leather combined with a heel cover peice for complete comfort and support.

Eamz Elastic

Cup is a sculptured heel piece which literally ‘cups’ the heel of a classic shoe and also acts as a backpiece.

Abstract merges the visual language of form and line to create a wooden heeled composition.

Pin boot is engineered for support and sex-appeal and emerges from a state-of the-art heel piece.
