Techno colour
Colours for spring- summer 2011, as they were presented to us by designers, such as JIL SANDER, NINA RICCI, SPORTMAX, VERSACE, VERSUS, DIANE VON FURSTENBERG, MARNI, LANVIN, PRADA, STELLA McCARTNEY, MICHAEL KORS, VALENTINO, BURBERRY PRORSUM, are simply stunning and irresistible! This year choose the most fluorescent colours that you will find in the market.
This year you will love fuchsia, yellow, orange, purple, green, turquoise, red, blue electric, lime colour and the tip of this season is that you can mix all this colours together. Too risky for you? Indeed, it is, but also irresistible for all of us, especially in the summertime when we all have a tan that makes fantastic contrast with light colours. We do not know if this intense colour palette came to give us a tone of optimism, which is not very unlikely, as the fashion over the centuries, was a mirror of all the political, economic and social affairs, whether it agreed to them, or it was tottaly the opposite, in order to give hope and joy to people, as it probably does today. Τhese days, we all have so many things to concern us, so add some colour into your life and this way you may find your lost optimism. There are two ways for you to achieve that. You can look very immpresive by choosing only one colour in a maxi dress, as Jil Sander did in his show, or you can mix two or even three colours together.

Mixing two colours together, is risky but also very subversive. We suggest mixing colours in ways you could not even imagine, but if you try it, the effect will astonish you. Mix yellow with fuchsia, blue with yellow, green with fuchsia, yellow with purple, green with fuchsia, purple with orange, fuchsia with purple, white with yellow, red with blue, purple with yellow and even with fuchsia!

For those of you who like to take a risk, there is always the option of mixing three colours. It is not something easy, but when you get it right, it’s pure magic! Try this compinations: yellow- fuchsia- blue, yellow-fuchsia- green, blue- light blue- fuchsia, purple- light blue- blue, yellow- blue- black (less than the other two), orange- fuchsia- blue, orange- fuchsia- green, white- yellow- black (less than the other two), purple- red- fuchsia, fuchsia- red- blue, or any other colour mix you can imagine.

If you are scared of mixing colours, there is one more option for you this season. Choose only one colourful piece such as a pair of pants, shorts, or a skirt. When it comes to pants, you can find them everywhere, especially jeans. Keep this as a guide to your look and wear them with a basic top, like a t-shirt, a tank-top, or a shirt. Choose them in white, grey and dark-almost used like- blue. That way you will pull all the attention to your pants, shorts or skirt and the rest of your clothes will be something like a frame to your whole look. Any way you see it, mixing colours, more or less, this spring and summer, will put some colour into your life and make your mood and your everyday life happier in a simple and fancy way!
