Ένας από τους πιο βασικούς κανόνες της μόδας είναι ότι δεν πρέπει να μπερδεύουμε πολλά χρώματα μαζί σε ένα outfit και ότι συνδυασμοί όπως καφέ και μαύρο, πορτοκαλί και ροζ, πράσινο και γαλάζιο πρέπει να απαγορεύονατι διά ροπάλου. Επίσης ότι τα παπούτσια πρέπει να είναι ασορτί με την τσάντα και η τσάντα με την ζώνη… Κανόνες, κανόνες, κανόνες…
Βαρετό!
Δεν υπάρχει κανένας νόμος που να το απαγορεύει, γι’ αυτό βγείτε από την ρουτίνα σας και τολμήστε!
Μία συμβουλή μόνο: Προσέξτε την “θερμοκρασία” του συνόλου. Το φούξια με το φωσφοριζέ πράσινο δεν είναι και τόσο καλή ιδέα και η Ugly Betty είναι αξιαγάπητη, αλλά μόνο για την τηλεόραση! Μην βάλετε όλα τα χρώματα μαζί σε ένα σύνολο, γιατί θα μοιάζετε με κινούμενο κύβο του Ρούμπικ. Δύο έντονα χρώματα, το πολύ τρία, είναι συνήθως η καλύτερη επιλογή.

There’s no law against it, so get out of the box and do whatever feels right for you. Forget everything your mother told you about wearing colour! Clashing colour is the name of fashion’s rainbow game and the aim is to make the contrast as sharp and bright as possible.
A good piece of advice: Be careful with the “temperature” of your outfit. Hot pink with neon green is never a good idea, Ugly Betty is only adorable on TV! Don’t go all out and put everything in one look, you’ll end up looking like a walking lollipop or even Rubik cube. Two is the best but if you’re not satisfied with just two, stick to three colours maximum.

So, this summer, dare to break free of all the rules and go a little crazy with colours! Try new combinations and variations of hues that you wouldn’t normally put together. Confidence is always the key, so if you don’t feel comfortable take it off.
Coco Chanel once said that “the best colour in the world is the one that looks good on you“.
So, play around with colours until it feels right!
