Kalos & Klio myth

It has been a long time that i had an interview  in  Rdeco with these two artists. Impressive, subversive art  full of patterns. I will describe a little bit of them in the next lines and if you like to read more you can always click the  Rdeco link and of course the Kalos&Klio site.

These two artists Kalos&Klio live and work in Thesaloniki.  They studied fine arts, painting, engrave art and mixed media here in Greece but also in America. They started this art co-operation in 2006. They ‘ve been in many projects along with testing  new  materials and techniques.  Kalos&Klio believe that there are no limits between life and art and they manage to create hybrid art transforming  not only walls, but also every day objects with their patterns.

So, it will be until the end of May that they expose their art in Fena’ s windows and Cosmos shopping center. Kalos&Klio transform their art into Vanitas purses, so that art can becomne a gift.  50 unique signed and numbered pieces of each pattern will wait for you to choose. Yes you will be unique if you buy.

The purses have been produced with digital media and they carry the pattern shape. The inspiration came through west iconography of rebirth, Ιslam art and contemporary pop culture.  The main subject depends on the 9 Greek ancient myth. So live your Greek myth in a purse!
