The carefully selected genuine vintage pairs, from the owner mr Svolopoulo, come in different types and sizes. We loved of course the ever so fashionable huge 7os sunglasses with the degrade lens, in the style of Jackie O. A pair of vintage glasses will cost you about 60€.
We asked mr Svolopoulos what is the secret to the perfect pair of glasses and he told us that the general rule is that the upper part of the frame must be around the hight of your eyebrows and not below. Of course the right way to decide on the perfect pair is to try it on, you maybe surprised how much difference a frame or a lens in a different colour will make, let alone the design of the frame.
What is more important mr Svolopoulos advised us is to ensure that the glasses protect against UV (ultraviolet) rays and that kind of glasses you will find only in shops that sell exclusively glasses. Never forget that sunglasses offer more than style, they offer protection!
