The first Etsy shop for 2010 is antigoni.etsy.com. It’s owner was a graphic artist, who began creating handmade jewelery three years ago, when she started “playing” with a pair of earrings. Today, she narrates her story, presents us with her work and offers to one lucky ermoumag reader a pair of silver earrings with Swarovski hearts.

I’m very lucky because as a graphic artist I get the privilege of being in the ‘adventurous’ creative arts professionally, but handmade jewelry is my most beautiful adventure ever! I started 3 years ago, ‘playing’ with a pair of earrings that needed fixing… that was it! I started searching the Internet, learning and experimenting, embarking on a journey that teaches me new things every day.

I found myself on Etsy originally as a buyer of supplies, and a few months later I opened my shop antigoni.etsy.com. So… I discovered an incredibly creative and supportive worldwide community of talented people. But apart from the opportunity I get to show my work, I have gained a lot as a person. I have made friends from all over the world, and especially after the Etsy Greek Team was created, I feel I am at home.

Uniqueness, personal element and love for creation, those are the three things that I believe travel along with our little packages… and our ‘customers’ feel that special aura that’s surrounding them. In antigoni.etsy.com every jewel is like a moment… a beautiful memory from my travel to the world of handmade jewelry, which I hope will continue to give me the same pleasures and experiences… I hope you like it!
