UGG(ly) boots…?

Of course, we talk about the famous UGG boots that came from Australia. Lately, these boots have become the ultimate must-have item in all fashionastas’ closets, worldwide. The last two years, UGG boots arrived to Greece and became very popular this winter. Who is responsible for this phenomenon? Who else? Kate Moss. Nobody knows if Moss went out in these boots for no reason or if she wanted to shock and introduce us to a new street style! However, everybody knows that Australia’s economy has received a good boost thanks to these shoes, although even Australians themselves laugh at this fashion-phenomenon, since they wear them not because they are in fashion, but because they are comfortable.

UGG boots are considered to be untasteful or even funny. That’s probably why, the director of the French Vogue has forbidden her employees to wear them. However, many Hollywood stars wear and loves them: Sienna Miller, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Aniston, Lindsay Lohan,Gwyneth Paltrow  and Nicole Richie .

You can find them in three types:

1) ankle boots
2) middle (most popular type) and
3) up to the knee

They come in many colors as you can see in UGG’s website. We would suggest you not succumb to them because sheep-skin is extremely soft, warm and comfortable and because you will be in fashion.

Wear them with skinny jeans, with leggings, opaque stockings, skirts, dresses, or even leather leggings, for a rock look. As far as it concerns the color, beige and brownUGGs are the most popular, however black and grey are equally beautiful. Choose them according to the colors you wear the most every day, because once you put you foot in these boots, you will never take it out!

Do’s: Mid-high boots are the best for all body types.

Don’ts: Pink boots are very girlish, but they look like slippers, so you’d better avoid them. And if we cannot persuade you, just keep in mind that they are Paris Hilton’s and Pamela Anderson’s favourite boots!
