Let’s Vintage!
The definition for vintage is second-hand clothes, furniture or objects. The word comes from the wine-making but has been established in the field of fashion and clothing. But what is the ‘vintage’? Many fashion houses return to the past and get inspired for the future. One of the best-known models, Kate Moss launches this type of clothing. As I was walking through the Christmas market in Athens I found that the vintage is in fashion! Let’s remember the French divas and the American cinema, let’s play with the colours! Let’s vintage!
Petit

This small, charming and different shop in Perikleous street has little treasures of plated silver!
Formika

Continuing our walk through the streets of Athens, we arrived in the beautiful neighbourhood of Psirri and we discovered a beautiful and stylish shop that it reminded us of Marilyn Monroe!

American Market

An old, neoclassical apartment in Varvakio market, promises to get us to America. There, after searching among thousands of clothes that come from America, we discovered beautiful, original and very cheap pieces that are ideal for those who want to impress everyone! Jackets in many colours, dresses-shirts and coats for men and women. And let’s not forget that big shoulder-pads are in fashion again! http://www.ermoumag.com/2009/11/put-your-hands-on-my-shoulders/
Poupée

I love the streets of Plaka. They are picturesque, ideal for Sunday walks and shopping! The owner of Poupée, a sweet shop tucked near the Plaka square, welcomed us and led us to the Athens of ‘50.Poupee in French means doll and the name fits perfectly in this romantic little store! Boxes of metal, suitable for jewellery, filled with handmade pins-dolls to decorate your vintage look.

And gorgeous bag to impress everyone!
