Shop of the Week: Theory
Theory is a relatively new label which was “born” in 1997 in New York in order to design clothe for fashion-savvy women. Within 12 years, it launched not only its own accessories and menswear lines, but also managed to expand in many European and Asian countries.
Theory is a company, a concept, a philosophy, a style, an aesthetic and a product. Its creators’ principle was that women choosing Theory would be those who want clothes both for the office and the evening.
Having as its basic principle fit and fabric, Theory creates pieces that can be combined perfectly well with other Theory clothes but also with items from other brands. As far as it concerns trousers, Theory used Lycra in its fabrics and created comfortable trousers with excellent fit.
Theory came to Greece in 2007 and today it has three stores. We got interested in learning more about the label after Dora Bakoyannis’ interview , who said that Theory is one of her favourite labels. For this reason, we visited the store at Patriarchou Ioakim str., where you can also find Tom’s Shoes and Gryphon New York, for the first time in Greece.

Το συγκεκριμένο Jacket είναι επληκτικό!!!
Γενικά τα Theory είναι ρούχα με καθαρές γραμμές και ότι πρέπει για τη δουλειά, όμως είναι αρκετά “τσιμπημένα” στην τιμή…:-)

Οκ δεν βγαίνει η εικόνα. Το λοιπόν είναι long jacket (Jaket για μένα γιατί στο site χαρακτηρίζεται παλτό) με ασύμμετρα κοψίματα, new length μανίκια, σε ανθρακί χρώμα και με λάμψη που παραπέμπει σε κασμίρ.

Look ντυμένο από την κορυφή μέχρι τα νύχια, κι όμως σέξυ, γιατί δίνει την αίσθηση του ότι γίνεται ένα με το δέρμα. Καλύπτει σωστά τα μεσογειακά σημεία που χρειάζονται κάλυψη, αναδεικνύει το ψηλό πόδι, τονίζει τη μέση. Μόνο καφέ δε φτιάχνει, αν και ποτέ δεν ξέρεις τι κρύβεται κάτω από αυτό το καταπληκτικά σχεδιασμένο μανίκι.

Μετά από επανάληψη της κλήρωσης, επειδή η πρώτη νικήτρια δεν απάντησε στα emails μας, η νέα νικήτρια είναι η κοπέλα με το πρωτότυπο όνομα ‘Gimme my Theory pants now!’ Τελικά, φαίνεται ότι αυτό που ήθελε, το κατάφερε!!! Συγχαρητήρια!!!
