Gabriella Ingram’s eccentric bustiers
Inspired by the romantic clothes and underwear of the previous centuries, Gabriella Ingram, a fashion designer based in London, presents her creations through a contemporary woman’s point of view.

Ingram combines various old items that she discovers in flea markets and second hand shops, with contemporary and unusual material, such as steel mesh, to create eccentric and unique bustiers.
As Ingram says, she likes bringing theatricality into fashion and she couldn’t do otherwise, since she designs costumes for performances of the English National Opera and the Royal Opera House, but also for movies, such as “The Importance of Being Earnest”.
The combination of the romantic style with the “hard” contemporary material and the minimal lines of the unique pieces Ingram designs, create a very special outcome.
However, Ingram’s creativity doesn’t stop here, as she doesn’t hesitate to create bustiers for men, with the same material and style!
